This naturally processed coffee comes from Uganda’s Rwenzori region and is exported by Kwezi Coffee, a company led by sisters Barbara Mugeni and Pamella Kampire. Second-generation coffee professionals, they grew up learning from their parents’ farm - where their father championed women as equal decision-makers and their mother managed everything from planting to post-harvest care. That legacy shapes their work today, with Kwezi Coffee dedicated to creating opportunities for women across Uganda’s coffee sector. In the cup, expect the vibrant fruit-forward depth typical of the Rwenzoris, paired with the care and commitment of a female-led supply chain.
