Roast Feedback (Beta)
Roast Feedback is a new feature designed to offer helpful observations based on your roast profile data. It uses best practices from experienced roasters and roasting literature—like Scott Rao’s guidelines—to highlight potential areas for improvement.
As this tool is still in beta, ongoing refinements are being made to improve its accuracy and overall usefulness.
Please keep in mind:
- Every roaster is different. Differences in probe placement, sensor type, and machine responsiveness can lead to variations in reported temperatures and rate-of-rise values.
- Bean variety, roast level, and environment all influence ideal roasting curves—what’s “optimal” for one roast may not apply to another.
- Taste is personal. This feature doesn’t aim to replace your judgment or palate. Instead, it’s here to offer insights that might help you make more informed decisions.
Feedback is welcome as work to improve this feature continues. The goal is to provide actionable, respectful suggestions—never rigid rules.
